Hadith About Hazrat Umar bin Khattab r.a

 Saying of the last Prophet saw about Umar bin Khattab r.a the 2nd Caliph.

Hazrat Umar Farooq is the 2nd Caliph of Islam and Prophet Muhammad saw is very loving him and other Sahaba, here is some of saying about Umar bin Khattab by Prophet Muhammad saw, these Hadiths are below.

1) It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Abbas (RA) that when Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) believed, Gabriel descended and said, “O Muhammad (PBUH)! Research The people of heaven have rejoiced (and congratulated) Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) on his conversion to Islam.

This hadith has been narrated by Ibn Majah

2) It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that Umar bin Al-Khattab (RA) is the lamp of the people of Paradise.

This hadith has been narrated by Daylami and Abu Naeem

3) Hazrat Anas (RA) said, "I love the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Abu Bakr and 'Umar (RA), so I hope that I will be with them because of their love." Although my actions are not like theirs.

This Hadith is Mutafiq

4) On the authority of Hazrat Uqba bin Aamir (RA) that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said: If there was a prophet after me, it would be Umar Bin Al-Khattab (RA).
